Healthy Kingdom Family | week 3 | a journey into wholeness

Sermons

September 30, 218
“Father to the fatherless, defender of widows— this is God, whose dwelling is holy.
God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.
But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.”
– Psalm 68.5-6 (NLT2)

Family is a gift from our loving and good heavenly Father. Family is His design for the church as well as society in general. Healthy families impart LIFE; providing a deep sense of acceptance and belonging as we grow into the men and women, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers we were always meant to be. And yet, some of the deepest wounds and hurts in our lives come from brokenness in families, both in the home and church. What might it look like for us to build healthy kingdom family that not only nurtures and grows but also heals and restores?

This week, Chad will be continuing our new fall series, “Healthy Kingdom Family.” Over the next several weeks, the Sunday morning teaching will provide the context for our small group discussion and ministry throughout the week. Don’t miss it…

Leon DeHaan | taking words captive

Sermons

September 09, 2018
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
– 2 Corinthians 10.3-6 (NKJV)

This Sunday, Leon DeHaan will be teaching about the power of our words and the importance of aligning our words with the word of God. Don’t miss it…

Transformational Living | week 4 | a people of reliance

Sermons

September 2, 2018
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” – 1 Corinthians 2.12 (NKJV)

Over the past few weeks, we’ve discussed being a people of transformation, learning to wait well and to partner with God to represent the heart of the Father in the earth, influencing the world around us for the Kingdom. But, as we wait and as we transition into new seasons of destiny, what does it look like to rely on God? Are we merely waiting for Him to come and rescue us from one thing to the other? Or, are we pressing into Him, relying on His strength to walk in the sustained victory that we’ve received through Christ?

This Sunday, Kris will encourage us to be a people who rely on God, walking in supernatural partnership with the Spirit who is revealing to us the victory that we’ve been freely given in Christ. Don’t miss it…
