“One day as He saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, and he began to teach them.”
– Matthew 5.1,2 (NLT)
The Sermon on the Mount is arguably the greatest sermon ever preached. Today, nearly 2000 years later, it serves as one of the greatest expositions on the culture of the Kingdom of Heaven. In His treatise, Jesus articulates the vision, core values, and cultural lifestyle that ought to distinguish those under His dominion. As a church family, we believe that the ways in which we manifest this culture are distinct and unique.
As such, this year’s winter series will be focused on these ideas, specifically…
the Kingdom “win” and what it means to be a participator in it
the values that define Kingdom citizens and how we can specifically walk them out
the cultural lifestyle that distinguishes the King’s people from the cultures around them
This Sunday, Chad will continue our series focusing on the values that define us as a church family and as citizens of the Kingdom of God. Don’t miss it…
